Warm Orange Candles

Description:

I found this in a blog I follow and had to share it here. This is a very simple thing to do, but it adds a wonderful scent and a wonderful glow to any kitchen. You will need any citrus type fruit (orange, grapefruit, lemon), a knife, and an oil (olive oil, canola oil, citronella oil). You can do this in about 5 minutes and it's a great party item:
1. Use a sharp knife to remove the top half of the orange
2. Use the knife to dig away (in my case, eat) the fruit, being sure to leave the middle as a wick
3. Fill the bottom half with your preferred oil to just below the top of the "wick"
4. Light and enjoy the glow

My orange candle burned consistently for a whole day. We place it in a cup and put them in various locations throughout the house.
